Towards a controlled way of transformation

Dragon1 is an open EA method that enables organizations to work with Enterprise Architecture. It also provides three levels of working with architecture: project-oriented, process-oriented, and product-oriented architecture. Each of these levels has its benefits (PROs and CONs).

For each of these three levels, other organizational structures are needed in the organization with a different set of roles and responsibilities.

Overview of Organizations

The Dragon1 open EA Method recognizes various architecture organizations:

  • Architecture Review Board
  • Architecture Steering Committee
  • Architecture Teams (The Design Office at level three)
  • Projects
