Products, Services, Processes, and Applications are duplicated in databases and Excel sheets.
All of which are used as a source of truth for making decisions. Reporting the headcount for employees or the number of clients is not possible with a click of a button.
How can we, as enterprise architects, help those organizations make the step toward a single source of truth for their core production of data and information? I think we should start by inspiring management to answer the question 'Why should we use a single source of truth (repository) in our company?'
